Chapter 10 - Ty

I couldn’t help but grin as I watched Grace finish off another margarita. I had downed a couple of beers when we first got to the bar, and she had matched me drink for drink.

That had been hours ago, though.

Since I was the one responsible for getting us back to her place in one piece, I had stopped after those two beers. She had offered to stop then as well, which was nice of her, but fuck that.

Just like I had told her then, this night was all about her being able to cut loose and have a little fun. If she didn’t want to have any other drinks, I wasn’t going to pressure her.

But if she did want more, I would be the last one to stand in her way.

She had gone with more, and while I was pretty sure she never really crossed the threshold into being drunk, I could tell that she was definitely feeling good.

Which made me feel even better.

Because Grace on a normal day was sexy.

Beautiful.

Captivating.

Tonight, though, in that little black dress with a couple of drinks in her?

Jesus fuck.

I’d been walking around with a hard-on all damn night. I couldn’t stop looking at her.

Neither could every other bastard in the bar. Grace had every dick in the room on high alert, and it was pretty fucking amazing to watch.

She sighed as she set down the glass, completely empty except for a few ice cubes that clinked together.

“I had forgotten how good the margaritas are here,” she said, nibbling at her lip when she noticed me grinning at her. “I think that was only my second one, though?”

I shrugged, non-committal. Two, four, whatever. Didn’t matter to me, as long as she was having fun.

“The music is pretty good here, too,” I said. “I could barely keep up with you out on the floor.”

She laughed. “You said I should really cut loose tonight.” She gave me a big smile. “So I cut loose.”

“I’m glad you did,” Ty said, meaning it. “Your smile is too beautiful to hide it outside of working hours. I’ve had a really good time tonight with you.”

“Me, too,” she said, her eyes darting from my eyes to my lips and back again. “It’s been…”

Whatever she had been about to say got lost in her throat when our lips met. It was just a quick kiss, but damn it made me want to put her on the back of my bike right that minute and take her somewhere more private, more quiet, somewhere I could kiss her the way I really wanted to.

The way she really needed to be kissed.

“Do you want to get out of here?” she asked, as if she had read my mind.

I shrugged, hoping to hide how eager I was to do just that. “It’s up to you, beautiful. This is your night.”

She smiled that sweet, sexy smile again and took my hand. “Let’s go, then. They’re only open for another hour or so, anyway. And I’m pretty sure I’m good on margaritas for the next month or two.
